Today we:
- started our Air and Flight unit with an examination of the Miracle on the Hudson, we predicted which words will be important during this Science unit
- learned another affix as a part of our morphology study
- started learning about poetry, we wrote a lyrical poem as a class
- had time for our reading race work, we have 9 more books to go until we get a chip buffet
- read three chapters from our class novel
- worked on adding and subtracting fractions with unlike denominators
- had gym class
