Today we:
- had French class
- learned about gender roles and longhouses in Haudenosaunee communities and what this tells us about their collective identity. We also learned about what it means to be a part of a matrilineal society
- worked on reading comprehension with cause and effect non-fiction text structures
- started work on a visual journal page about Haudenosaunee society
- worked on rotations using all four sections of the Cartesian plane, using (0,0) as our fixed point
- read aloud two chapters from our new class novel, A Long Walk To Water, by Linda Sue Park
- did a practice test to identify different non-fiction text structures
Don't Forget
